SUMMER IN SWEDEN

I am spending the summer in Sweden. We are here for a long time because I am waiting for my little sister to come out of mom's tummy. Great adventures, a little bit of sun and plenty of rain... Many people are complaining about the weather but I think it's nice for a change to walk around with wellies and a jacket. I have spent a lot of time with my cousin Theo. Like me, he is also waiting for a little sibling, but he doesn't know if it will be a sister or a brother.
Most of the time, me and Theo get along, but sometimes we fight!
Here, Theo and I are trying to start granddad's lawn mower.
I also have my own lawn mower!
Here I am playing with planes and lorries in the sandpit.
Check out my new bike!
One day, we went out with grandma's and granddad's boat and here I am sitting with grandma. Rune, granddad's brother is sitting behind us.
My second cousin Vilma came to Östersund for a few days to visit her grandma Eivor (my grandma's sister) who is standing behind the slide.
Tora, 3,5 months old, came to visit with her mother Elisabet so I got to practice how it is to have a little sister. I think it will be fun!
Emma from England was in Östersund with her mother Eva to visit her grandparents. Here, we are having fun in "Badhusparken", a park by the lake in Östersund.
I have also been playing with my friend Hugo and his little sister Hilma.
When we had just arrived from Tanzania, we went to Umeå to visit my godmother Åsa and some friends. Here is my friend Lucas who is born on the same day as I am.
I also went to visit my friend Moses in Uppsala for a few days. Here we are on our way from the animal farm 4H, a place to which Moses wanted to take me because he thought I should see some Swedish animals, not only 'Swahili animals' (as he had told his mum Ylva). We saw horses, rabbits and goats, but we both found them a bit scary and didn't want to stay for long.
Me and Moses taking a well needed bath.

MY SECOND BIRTHDAY!

On the 28th of April, it was my second birthday. I threw a big party at home for all my friends and we also celebrated my birthday with ice cream at pre-school.Mum had baked a strawberry cake. Here I am blowing out the candle with daddy and making a secret wish.
The cake was delicious and I was allowed to drink as much soda as I wanted!
I got so many nice presents! Troy and I played with my new Lego.
My friends Chile, Clarissa and Tariq all came to the party.
I got a computer from Clarissa with lots of fun games! Here I am having one more game before going to bed.
Mum came with ice cream to pre-school...
I finished all of mine!

EASTER HOLIDAY

Hello again! It's about time for an update.... A lot of things have happened since last time I posted something on the blog. For example, on my Easter holiday I went with mum and dad to a farm in Mufindi and on safari to Mikumi. Check out the photos!
We stayed for a few days at Mufindi Highland Lodge in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania. It's a farm with horses, a lake, lots of forest and it's surrounded by tea estates. It was very hot in Dar es Salaam but in Mufindi, it was a bit cold - so chilly that I had to wear socks and they had to heat the water with a fire in the morning. Here I got a ride on daddies sholders in the forest.
We went fishing but we didn't catch any fish. It was fun though!
There were lots of ducks and horses on the farm and here I am walking around with a horse brush and the video camera.

Daddy went horse riding but I thought the horses were a bit too big and scary so I didn't want to come along this time. I tried to sit on one of them for a few minutes though, so maybe next time!
On our way back to Dar es Salaam, we stayed in Mikumi National Park where we went on a game drive and saw lots of animals. The most exciting animals were the lions of course! It was also very cool that I got to sit with daddy behind the wheel!

We saw three lions, one male and two female. They were very lazy so we could watch them for a long time at a very close distance. Here they decided to go to another place and walked right past our car.
